Eike Hovermann
Eike Anna Maria Hovermann (born May 27, 1946 in Eickelborn ) is a German politician ( SPD ).
Life and work
After graduating from high school in Warburg in 1964 , Hovermann studied history and Latin to become a teacher in Münster . After graduating, he worked as a teacher at high schools in Münster, Burgsteinfurt , Erwitte and Lippstadt- Overhagen.
Hovermann is married and has two children.
Political party
Hovermann has been a member of the SPD since 1969 and was chairman of the SPD sub-district of Soest from 1992 to 2010 .
MP
From 1979 to 1994 he was a member of the city council of Lippstadt and from 1989 to 2004 of the district council of the Soest district .
On January 13, 1995, Hovermann moved into the Bundestag for the resigned SPD MP Hans Gottfried Bernrath and left the Bundestag before the 2009 election. From October 1998 to October 2002 he was the deputy spokesman for the health working group and from January 1999 to October 2002 he was the spa and rehabilitation officer of the SPD parliamentary group . He was on the advisory board of two private insurance companies.
Eike Hovermann entered the Bundestag in 1998 as a directly elected member of the Soest constituency and otherwise always through the state list of North Rhine-Westphalia .
