Jonathan Chase

Chase inherited the ability to transform into an animal from his father. "His fate led him to the most remote corners of Africa and to the pristine peaks of the Himalayas," says the opening credits of the series. “His father left him a grim legacy. He has the ability to cross the line that separates humans from animals and animals from humans. ”In the course of the episodes, Chase uses this ability again and again. Mostly he turns into a black panther or a hawk. But you can also see him in the shape of a horse, the legendary golden bear, a bull, an elephant and a giant snake.

In a few steps, the viewer can see how Chase mutates into an animal (hair, claws, etc. grow) From today's point of view, the special effects are kept very simple and therefore involuntarily funny. It is also unclear where Chase's clothes stay when he transforms, and where he "conjures up" them again afterwards. Despite these minor flaws, these transformations represent the cult climax of the individual episodes.
