A nightclub for Sarah Jane ( It All Came True ) is an American black and white film from 1940. Directed by Lewis Seiler based on a script that Michael Fessier and Lawrence Kimble based on the short story Better Than Life by Louis Bromfield wrote. The main roles were played by Ann Sheridan , Jeffrey Lynn and Humphrey Bogart .

The gangster and nightclub owner Chips Maguire shoots a man and flees from the police. He hides under the name Grasselli in the pension of the mother of his pianist Tommy Taylor. The pension, which Mrs. Taylor runs together with her friend Miss Flint, is threatened with the end because the two ladies cannot pay their bank debts. Maguire settles the debt and turns the old-fashioned pension into a retro-look nightclub, in which pianist Tommy and his girlfriend Sarah Jane are the stars of the program.

The lexicon of international films said: "A crime film with fairytale features, in which Humphrey Bogart breaks up the image of the criminal loser with comedic and warm-hearted features." The magazine Cinema , on the other hand, sums it up: "Not a bogey pearl"
