Eintracht Bremen
Eintracht Bremen was a sports club from the Bremen district of Findorff . The first men's soccer team played in the top amateur league in Bremen for 20 years and once took part in the DFB Cup . The first women's team played for two years in the second-rate Oberliga Nord and once took part in the final round of the German championship .
history
On February 3, 1914, the club was founded as FC Eintracht Bremen and changed its name to SV Eintracht Bremen in 1920 . In 1933, the club took on the members of the SV Weser 08 Bremen workers' sports club . In 1937 this merged with a company sports association to form SpVgg Norddeutscher Lloyd . After the end of the Second World War , it became TuS Eintracht Bremen , in which the SuS 96 Bremen association was also merged. In early 2005 TuS Eintracht merged with TvdB Bremen to form SG Findorff .
Men's soccer
In 1949, Eintracht reached the upper house of Bremen for the first time, which they had to leave after a year. Two ascents in a row led the team back to the Bremen upper house in 1955. A year later, Eintracht won the Bremer Pokal for the first time with a 2-1 win over Bremer SV . After relegation in 1961, he returned directly. The Bremen Cup was won again in 1964 and 1967. In the meantime, Eintracht 1966 Bremen champions and reached the promotion round to the Regionalliga Nord .
There it was only enough for second place behind HSV Barmbek-Uhlenhorst . A year later, Eintracht reached the promotion round again as runner-up, because champions Werder Bremen amateurs were not eligible to participate. Despite 5: 1 points at the start, defeats at VfL Oldesloe and against TuS Haste 01 meant that the team lost their potential promotion. In 1970, Eintracht became runner-up and qualified for the German amateur championship , where the end against VfL Neckarau came in the first round .
In 1973, Eintracht rose again from the Bremen House of Lords. Four years later, the team qualified for the DFB-Pokal after advancing one round three times on penalties at Bremen level . In the first main round, Eintracht had to travel to VfB Stuttgart and lost 0:10. In 1979, Eintracht rose again from the regional league. After two consecutive promotions, the team returned to the Bremen House of Lords in 1989. After relegation in 1991, Eintracht was promptly passed through to the district league and in 1996 was relegated to the district class.
Women's soccer
In 1989 the team was able to win the Bremen championship, but waived the possible promotion to the Oberliga Nord. In the German championship , Eintracht was eliminated in the first round against TuS Ahrbach . Two years later, he was finally promoted to the then second-class Oberliga Nord. After an eighth place in the 1991/92 season, relegation followed a year later.
