Eiswirth's house
The Eiswirth'sche Haus is a listed building in the old town of Uetersen , Pinneberg district .
The building is a single-storey, free-standing gabled house with two lobes from the mid-18th century. It was probably originally a smoke house due to the hall type and was in a privileged location. Inside the building there are several ceiling frescoes , probably by the Uetersen artist Johann Herbst (1691–1761) or the Swiss church painter Giovanni Battista Innocenzo Colombo (1717–1793), who lived in this house from 1747 to 1750. The building was built on behalf of the conventual Eleonore von Thienen . Later owners were the Klostersyndicus Grube, the lawyer Johann Huwald and the master saddler Eiswirth, who gave the building its name.
The building is due to its architectural, historical value and the internal decorations as a cultural monument under monument protection .
