Elias Kemboi Chelimo
Elias Kemboi Chelimo (born March 10, 1984 ) is a Kenyan marathon runner .
In 2004 he was sixth in the Marathon de la baie du Mont Saint-Michel and seventh in the Nairobi Marathon . He was third each in 2005 in Nairobi and in 2006 in the Dubai Marathon .
In 2007, a victory in the Rome Marathon was followed by fourth place in the Paris Marathon and an eleventh in the 2007 New York City Marathon . In 2008 he finished second in the Xiamen Marathon and the Milan Marathon . In 2009 he won the São Paulo Marathon and came fourth in the Frankfurt Marathon .
In 2010 he finished eighth in the Rotterdam Marathon and was third in the Frankfurt Marathon with 2:07:04 h, his personal best.
On November 15, 2015, he won the Istanbul Marathon in 2:11:17 h.
