Elijah Kelley
Elijah Kelley (born August 1, 1986 in LaGrange , Georgia ) is an American actor , singer and dancer .
Life
During his youth Elijah Kelley gained his first singing experience as a member of the regional gospel choir of the parish . As a child he had several times in commercials from Coca-Cola to see and played small roles in TV movies like Mama Flora's Family or A Lesson Before Dying . He took on first leading roles in performances at Troup County High School in La Grange, where he also graduated from high school. Allegedly he only attended one dance class during his youth .
He moved to California with his parents and took on engagements in television series . For example, he played in episodes of The Shield - Law of Violence and Numbers - The Logic of Crime , before he became known in 2007 for his small lead role in the music film Hairspray alongside Queen Latifah and Zac Efron .
Kelley is featured on the soundtrack for Sex and the City with the song Dangerous .
