Elini Dimoutsos ( Greek Ελίνι Δημούτσος , born June 18, 1988 in Lushnja , Albania ) is a Greek football player who is active in midfield .
Career
Elini Dimoutsos began his career in the youth departments of Ilisiakos Athens before signing a professional contract and moving up to the men's squad. In 2007 Dimoutsos moved to the top Greek club Panathinaikos Athens . Dimoutsos made his debut in the Greek first division on September 2, 2007 when his team played at home against Olympiacos . Dimoutsos played his first European Cup match on September 20, 2007 at a UEFA Cup match against FC Artmedia Bratislava, which his team Panathinaikos won 2-1.
National team
As a regular player of the U-19s, Dimoutsos qualified for the 2007 European Championship in Austria where he won second place with Greece. On the way to the final, they beat Germany 3-2 in the semi-finals. He was also used regularly in the U21 between 2007 and 2010 and played 24 games in which he scored three goals.
Dimoutsos completed his only international match in the senior national team on August 15, 2012 in a 3-2 away win in Norway . In the 81st minute he was substituted on for Alexandros Tziolis by coach Fernando Santos .
