Eliseu (born April 10, 1952 in Leça da Palmeira ; full name Eliseu Martins Ramalho ) is a former Portuguese football player .

Career

For the 1970/71 season he moved from Leça FC to Leixões SC in the Primeira Divisão and was able to hold the league with his new club. For the 1976/77 season he joined the newly promoted Varzim SC and moved two seasons later to Boavista Porto . In his first season at Boavista, he won the Taça de Portugal with his new club . After the first game after extra time ended 1: 1, they won the replay 1-0 against Sporting Lisbon . This qualified for the European Cup Winners' Cup of the 1979/80 season . After defeating Sliema Wanderers from Malta in the first round , they were eliminated in the round of 16 against Dynamo Moscow due to the away goals rule.

In the 1979/80 and 1980/81 seasons, the club qualified for the UEFA Cup by placing fourth . In the 1981/82 season they reached the second round and in this round he was used in the 1-0 win in the second leg against Valencia CF. From coach Mário Lino he was used over the entire season. Due to the 2-0 defeat in the first leg, the 1-0 victory was not enough for advancement. After the 1982/83 season he ended his career at Boavista Porto.
