Elmar Nübold
Elmar Nübold (born April 11, 1944 in Altenhundem , Sauerland ) is a German Roman Catholic liturgical scholar and priest .
Life
Elmar Nübold studied from 1964 to 1970 in Paderborn and Freiburg im Breisgau . On March 14, 1970 he was ordained a priest in Paderborn Cathedral . From 1970 to 1971 he was vicar in Sankt Marien Hagen, then until 1977 in Sankt Blasius Balve (Sauerland) and finally until October 1979 in St. Peter and Paul Herne-Sodingen. Subsequently, until April 1985 Nübold was archbishop chaplain and secret secretary of Archbishop Johannes Joachim Degenhardt in Paderborn.
On February 4, 1985, he was at the Theological Faculty of Paderborn with a thesis on development and evaluation of the new lectionary of the Roman rite for the celebration of Mass on Sundays and feast days for a doctor of theology doctorate . From April 1985 to July 1995 Elmar Nübold was pastor in the parish of Sankt Marien in Fürstenberg (near Bad Wünnenberg ). From June 1995 to August 1998 he headed the German Liturgical Institute in Trier and was a subsidiary in the parish of the Visitation of Mary in Farschweiler .
From September 1, 1998 to August 31, 2015, Nübold was the first pastor of the St. Liborius parish, founded in 1998 in downtown Paderborn with the title of Provost . After resigning from office, he retired. He still retains the title provost .
From 2005 to 2016 Nübold was a lecturer in liturgy at the seminary in Paderborn.
From October 2015 to November 2016 he also took on priestly services in the Vinzentinerinnen home in Bad Lippspringe.
From December 1, 2016, he has been working as a pastor in the Westphalenhof Paderborn - nursing home area.
