Elodie Jakob (born October 8, 1993 ) is a Swiss heptathlete .

Athletic career

In 2009 Elodie Jakob took part in the youth world championships in Bressanone , where she finished fifth in the heptathlon. In 2010 she was twelfth at the Junior World Championships in Moncton, Canada . At the European Junior Championships in Tallinn in 2011 , she set a new Swiss junior record of 5657 points, finishing eighth. At the Junior World Championships in Barcelona in 2012 , she had to give up her competition early. In 2013 she took part in the hurdles sprint at the U23 European Championships in Tampere, Finland , but was eliminated there in advance. In 2015 she qualified for the U23 European Championships in Tallinn, where she finished seventh with 5746 points.

She is a two-time Swiss champion.
