Elsa Sylvan (born January 23, 1987 in Stockholm ) is a Swedish photo model . She became internationally known through the presentation of the collection of the French fashion designer Hubert de Givenchy at a fashion show in Paris in 2007.

Elsa Sylvan was discovered at Gröna Lund , an amusement park in Stockholm . She became internationally noticeable on the catwalk at the Givenchy spring / summer fashion show 2007 in Paris. Since then, she has worked for well-known fashion houses and designers such as Benetton , Chanel , Christian Lacroix , D&G , Karl Lagerfeld , Kenzo , Lanvin , Louis Vuitton , Marc Jacobs , Nina Ricci , Valentino , Vivienne Westwood and others.

Sylvan presented dresses in magazines such as Numéro , V , Elle . and is featured on the covers of various magazines including Elle Italia , Elle Sweden and French Revue de Modes . In September 2009 she was the focus of a ten-page photo series in the US edition of Elle.

The website models.com lists Sylvan in the top 50 “most wanted models”.
