Postage stamps 2010 of the Federal Republic of Germany

Winner: "Most beautiful block of postage stamps in the world 2010"

The 2010 stamp year of the Federal Republic of Germany comprises 53 special stamps , including a block issue and a joint issue with Argentina. In addition, twelve self-adhesive special stamps were issued in brand sets or brand boxes. There will be 10 euro silver commemorative coins on the same theme for six issues . In the definitive stamp series flowers there is a new stamp for the woman's shoe for 4.10 euros for the new price of a “DHL Parcel Germany” introduced on January 1, 2010, as well as the lily of the valley a new stamp for 45 cents for franking a postcard within Germany , which replaces the motif of the same value daisy from 2005. The charity stamps with the fruit motifs smell like the types of fruit shown. The standard value for letters from the Flowers series will also appear in a stamp set from March onwards, which smell of the roses shown when you rub the stamp.

As in the previous year, there are two stamps with a current occasion, the motifs of which were only announced this year. In mid-May, the brands “Andrea Doria” and “Sonderzug nach Pankow” designed by Udo Lindenberg were presented for July 1st .
