Stamp blocks of the Federal Republic of Germany
This article describes the stamp blocks of the collection area "Federal Republic of Germany". The publisher was the Deutsche Bundespost until 1994 ; from 1995 the Federal Ministry of Finance .
By 1968 only 4 blocks had appeared; a denser output frequency was found in the 1970s and from 1990 onwards.
The counting of the Michel catalog begins with block 2.
The stamp pad for the “10. International Postage Stamp Exhibition of Young People ”from 1990: In contrast to all other block editions, the same stamp is used here several times.
The Christmas pad 2001 [N ° 56] was issued as a joint issue with Spain , which also contained Spanish postage stamps. Another special feature: the pad was issued in two different paper thicknesses. Block 56 I - normal paper 0.08 mm with white fluorescence; Block 56 II thick paper 0.1 mm bright yellow fluorescence.
