Postage stamps from 1988 of the Deutsche Bundespost Berlin

The postage stamp year 1988 of the Deutsche Bundespost Berlin comprised 19  special stamps and 13  definitive stamps . The postage stamps of this year were valid until December 31, 1991 .

The nominal value of the brands was DM 28.10  ; an additional DM 4.10 was paid for charitable purposes .

As supplementary values, there were five new motifs in the “ Sights ” definitive series and eight new motifs in the “ Women in German History ” series ; With the exception of the value of 60 pfennigs, these appeared on the same day as the postage stamps of the same motif from the Deutsche Bundespost .
