particularities

The block "Resistance fighters" was announced as not valid for postage, only the separated individual stamps should be valid. In day-to-day operations, however, shipments with entire blocks stuck on were also transported without objection and were not subject to additional postage.

1. ↑ According to an official ruling, the block as a whole was not valid for postage, but franking with this block was canceled and transported without objection.
2. ↑ A stamp with the same motif with the inscription "Deutsche Bundespost Berlin" was also issued in 1964 by the Landespostdirektion Berlin with the MiNr. 236 issued.
3. ↑ ^{a b c d} Although four of the twelve stamps were only issued in 1965, they belong to this set and therefore belong to the year of issue 1964.
