Postage stamps from 1982 of the Deutsche Bundespost

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

German Federal Presidents (block number 18)

The postage stamps issued by the Deutsche Bundespost in 1982 comprised 34 special stamps , five of these stamps were only available as a block of stamps , plus ten definitive stamps from the Castles and Palaces and Industry and Technology series . On July 1, 1982, the postage fees were increased, e.g. B. the standard letter from 60 to 80 pfennigs, so that more and more 80 pfennigs were issued.

All postage stamps issued since January 1, 1969 had unlimited postage validity and there was no expiration date as in previous years. With the introduction of the euro as a common European currency on January 1, 2002, this regulation became obsolete. However, the stamps of this year could be used until June 30, 2002. An exchange was possible until September 30th in the branches of the Deutsche Post , after that until June 30th, 2003 centrally in the Philately branch of Deutsche Post AG in Frankfurt.
