The 1966 stamps issued by the Deutsche Bundespost Berlin comprised eight special stamps and 21 definitive stamps .

The nominal value of the brands was DM 14.63  ; an additional DM 1.10 was paid for charitable purposes .

  1. The same stamps, without the inscription "Berlin", were also sold by the German Federal Post Office in 1966 with the MiNr. 511 to 514 issued.
  2. The same stamps, without the inscription "Berlin", were also sold by the German Federal Post Office in 1966 with the MiNr. 523 to 526 spent.
  3. The same stamps, without the inscription "Berlin", were also used by the German Federal Post Office in 1966/1967 with the MiNr. 489 to 503 spent.
  4. The value 8 Pfennig was only issued in Berlin.
  5. a b c d e f g h i Although 8 of the 16 stamps were only issued in 1967 and the DM 1.30 stamp was not issued until 1969, they count towards this set and therefore belong to the year of issue 1966.
  6. The stamp was initially issued in green olive, because of the risk of confusion with the 20-pfennig stamp, the brand with the same image was then issued in 1967 in dark pink-red.
  7. The same stamps, without the inscription "Berlin", were also used by the German Federal Post Office in 1966/1967 with the MiNr. 506-510 spent.
  8. Although the 1 DM stamp was not issued until 1967, it belongs to this set and therefore belongs to the year of issue 1966.
