Series: Berlin Cityscapes |
The 1959 stamp year of the Deutsche Bundespost Berlin comprised four special stamps , one of which was a supplement to the series "Men from the History of Berlin", which, however, belongs to the 1957 year in philatelic terms. In the case of definitive stamps, there was a supplement to the series “Berlin Cityscapes” and a small definitive series with five postage stamps from Federal President Theodor Heuss in a medallion. These stamps were the first stamps with the same motif, color and value to be issued by the German Federal Post Office in the Federal Republic of Germany.
The nominal value of the brands was DM 2.20 .
