Emídio Rafael Augusto Silva (born January 24, 1986 in Lisbon ) is a Portuguese football player who currently plays for AO Platanias as a left full-back.
career
Trained in the youth team of the traditional Portuguese club Sporting Lisbon , Rafael began his career in the Portuguese second division . After he achieved promotion with the Portimonense SC , he moved to the established club Académica de Coimbra . Just one season later, he moved to the Portuguese top team FC Porto . At the beginning of January 2013 he moved to Sporting Braga , but FC Porto still owns around 90% of the transfer rights.
