Emigdio Duarte Figueroa

Emigdio Duarte Figueroa (born May 5, 1968 in Guamúchil , Mexico ) is auxiliary bishop emeritus in Culiacán .

Life

The Apostolic Nuncio in Mexico , Girolamo Prigione , consecrated him on June 29, 1996 as a priest of the diocese of Culiacán.

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on January 15, 2007 auxiliary bishop in Culiacán and titular bishop of Bilta . The Bishop of Culiacán, Benjamin Jiménez Hernández , donated him episcopal ordination on March 15 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were José Ulises Macías Salcedo , Archbishop of Hermosillo , and Miguel Romano Gómez , Auxiliary Bishop in Guadalajara .

He resigned from his position in September 2010.
