Emil Herberg

Emil Herberg (born April 14, 1882 in Pethau near Zittau , † April 15, 1963 in Zwickau ) was a German politician of the People's Rights Party .

Live and act

Herberg attended the village school in Pethau and the elementary school in Zittau. From 1896 to 1902 he was trained at the teachers' college in Löbau , Saxony . From 1902 to 1905 he worked as an assistant teacher in Reichenau near Zittau. From 1905 to 1909 he studied pedagogy in Jena and Leipzig , where he passed the examination to become a qualified commercial teacher in 1909. He also attended a number of commercial science events in Leipzig.

From 1909 to 1911 he worked as a graduate trade teacher at the bookseller college in Leipzig, then until 1915 as a senior teacher at the higher commercial college in Zwickau. From 1915 to 1918 Herberg took part in the First World War with the 24th Reserve Infantry Regiment.

From 1919 to 1923 taught Herberg as a teacher at the commercial college in Zwickau. In 1923 he became director of the Eibenstock commercial school . 1924 Director of Studies at a commercial college.

Since the 1920s, Herberg has been politically active in the Reich Party for People's Law and Appreciation . On January 3, 1930, Herberg entered the fourth Reichstag of the Weimar Republic in the replacement procedure for the deputy Adolf Lobe , who resigned in December 1929 , in which he represented constituency 30 (Chemnitz-Zwickau) until the election in September of the same year .
