Emil Kiszka

Emil Kiszka (born December 5, 1926 in Knurow ; † February 9, 2007 in Hürth , Germany ) was a Polish sprinter and long jumper .

Over 100 m he was fourth at the European Athletics Championships in Brussels in 1950 and won bronze at the 1951 World Festival of Youth and Students .

In 1952 he was eliminated from the Olympic Games in Helsinki over 100 m in the preliminary run and reached the semi-finals in the 4 x 100 meter relay .

At the EM 1954 in Bern, he did not get past the first round in the 4 x 100 meter relay .

He was three times Polish champion over 100 m (1950-1952) and once in the long jump (1948). In the hall he won the title over 60 m or 80 m four times (1948, 1951, 1954, 1955) and once in the long jump (1951).
