Emil Moog

Emil Moog (born August 20, 1873 in Dortmund ; † January 20, 1954 there ; full name Alwin Wilhelm Emil Moog ) was a German civil engineer and architect . His most famous work is the so-called Dortmunder U .

Life

Nothing is known about Emil Moog's career so far. From 1902 he was self-employed in Dortmund. He specialized early on in the construction of brewery plants ; for the architectural design he sometimes called in other architects.

From 1927 Moog was also active outside the Ruhr area, for example in the Harz, Upper Palatinate, Magdeburg and Kassel.

Moog was a member of the Reich Chamber of Fine Arts .
