Emmanuelle Bach (born May 30, 1968 in Paris ; actually Emanuelle Anouk El Kabbach or Emanuelle Elkabbach ) is a French film actress .

Life

Emmanuelle Bach was born in 1968 as the daughter of Holda Fonteyn (née Trenkle, 1938–2017) and the Algerian -born journalist Jean-Pierre Elkabbach (* 1937), who was born in Paris. Bach, whose parents divorced in 1973, first studied history and then wanted to study political science. After discovering her love for acting and taking acting classes with Jean-Laurent Cochet , she stood in front of the camera for the first time in the role of a nurse in Philippe de Broca's comedy Mixed Doubles (1991). This was followed primarily by appearances on television, including the US television series The Clientbased on John Grisham 's novel of the same name , VIP - The Bodyguards and New York Cops - NYPD Blue .
