Crime Scene Riviera (original title: Section de recherches ) is a French crime series that has been broadcast on the French TV channel TF1 since May 11, 2006 . The German-language first broadcast has been on the German pay-TV channel Sat.1 emotions since August 28, 2016 . Free TV broadcasting on Sat.1 began a day later .

The eleventh season has been broadcast in France since January 2017. A twelfth season is also being planned.

action

The series is about a special unit of the gendarmerie in Bordeaux (2006 to 2013) and Nice (since 2014). The team around Capitain Enzo Ghemara (seasons 1 to 5) and Capitain Martin Bernier (since season 5) investigates beyond France's borders in cases of child abduction, capital crimes and sexual offenses.

Characters

German synchronization

The German dubbing is done by the dubbing company Arena Synchron in Berlin , with Nadine Geist being responsible for the script and directing . Annemarie Vogel, Martina Marx and Cindy Beier are also responsible for the dialogue book and Oliver Feld is also responsible for the dialogue direction. Synchronization will start from the eighth season of the series.

German title

The German title sets the series on the Riviera , although the first seven seasons (2006 to 2014) still play in Bordeaux , i.e. not in the French Riviera. Sat.1 broadcasts the series, however, beginning with the 8th season, so that the title correctly names the location of the episodes broadcast in Germany.

Originally, the series should be named after the city of Nice and read "Crime Scene Nice", although the title in anglicized form should have been correctly "Crime Scene Nice".
