The stripper Susanne, who calls herself Marilyn, dreams of traveling to the Cannes Film Festival to be discovered as an actress. Her friend and manager Frank occasionally urges her to sleep with rich men as this is good for business. One day he persuades her once again to agree to copulate with a stranger while cheating on her behind her back with her friend and colleague Sally. When Marilyn comes home, she catches the two of them red-handed, but lets Frank talk her into a threesome . The next morning, Marilyn decides to make her dream a reality and travels to Cannes , where she wants to make a career and overcome Frank.
Once there, she meets the film producer George, with whom she has fun on his yacht . Through him she finally got a role in a porn film, but it flopped. Left alone and destitute, Marilyn sees no other option than to prostitute herself. Desperate, she calls Frank who picks her up and brings her back to Paris , where she continues her old life.
