Gabriel Pontello (* between 1945 and 1955, probably in France ) is a French film actor , porn actor , director and film producer of porn films .

life and career

Pontello's private biography is largely unknown. His date of birth is unknown; he is said to have been born in the late 1940s or at most in the early 1950s. His nationality is indicated as French or Italian. His parents were probably of Italian origin, came from near Udine and had emigrated to France. Pontello is said to have worked as a teacher before starting his porn career .

As an actor, Pontello has appeared in adult films , in soft sex films and in over 150 hardcore strips. From the 1990s he also took on so-called "non-sex roles". In 1975 he made his debut as a porn actor in the film Candice Candy . Pontello was successful as a porn actor mainly in the 1970s and 1980s and worked mainly in French and Italian productions. Mostly he was used in the role type of the heterosexual macho .

He worked with film directors and producers such as Michel Leblanc , Marc Dorel , Hans Moser and Teresa Orlowski . His partners included u. a. From 1977 to 1985 Pontello was the main actor in the sex magazine Superstar , a series of pornographic photo novels that were produced in France and later also in Italy , and set in a crime scene and in which Pontello always played the "porn inspector". In March 1979 and January 1980, Playgirl magazine published erotic photos with Pontello in the Men of Europe series . Pontello was featured in the photo series as a Frenchman with a fictional biography as a Parisian photo editor with a small apartment on avenue Victor Hugo, not far from the Champs-Elysees . At the beginning of the 1980s, these photos were also shown in one of the German Playgirl editions available for a short time under the title Europe’s Men .

Pontello is considered the discoverer, mentor and promoter of the Italian porn star Rocco Siffredi ; Through Pontello's mediation, Siffredi received initial offers for erotic photo shoots and his first role in a porn film. Pontello and Siffredi met in 1984 in the Paris sex club Club 106 .
