End of Days is a death metal / hardcore band from Germany, founded in 1999 .

Band history

End of Days was founded in Bottrop in summer 1999. The band first appeared in Essen in February 2000 as the opening act for Rykers . In the same year she released a demo recording with three songs. After various tours (including with Rykers, Hatebreed , Settle the score, Earth Crisis , Madball , Death Threat, Cataract , Heaven Shall Burn ) she released the MCD Hate Anthems in 2003 . In January 2005 the band recorded their debut album Dedicated to the Extreme , which was released in April 2005 via Alveran Records. After that, the band toured first with Napalm Death and Diecast . In the fall of 2005, she appeared on the "Hell On Earth" tour alongside As I Lay Dying , Heaven Shall Burn, Agents of Man , Evergreen Terrace and Neaera .

In 2006/2007 the band project slowly came to an end. The members devoted themselves to other bands (Bloodpack, Biblis, Inane, Born from Pain). In October 2007 it was announced on the Myspace page that the band was not going any further at the moment, but that they had not yet been dissolved. End of Days have been active again since 2009 and have performed a few gigs, also with new material (e.g. at the Turock Summer Festival 2009, Essen). In January 2010 the band released three new demo songs on their Myspace page.

style

End of Days mix Death Metal with Hardcore elements. The vocals are very reminiscent of John Tardy from Obituary and Roger Miret from Agnostic Front .
