history

The origin of the noble family is in the dark. It is documented for the first time on September 26, 1222 with Hermannus de Fine in the Margraviate of Meißen . The line of trunks begins with the knight , Margrave of Meissnian and Thuringian councilor Nickel from the end of Rothengraben, who appears in documents from 1335-1362.

The Empire baron was with diploma of 31 October 1630 Nicolaus von Endt, Lord on Wolkenburg, Lausnitz, Königsfeld and Fuchshain, Doctor of Laws, Imperial Councilor , Court of Appeal - assessor , as well as from 10 May 1705 for Christian Vollrath from the end and their respective Offspring confirmed.

By acquiring the Bierde (Böhme) estate , the family was accepted into the knightly nobility of the Lüneburg landscape .

The baronial tribe was divided into two lines, that of Altjeßnitz , which in turn was divided into an older and younger branch, and the line of Düdelsheim in Hesse. The line to Alt-Jessnitz owned the Majorat Altjeßnitz in the district of Bitterfeld (province of Saxony) as well as the feudal estates Trinum in Anhalt-Cöthen and Dittersbach in Saxony. Later Jahna near Meißen (today the municipality of Käbschützal ) was added.
