Otto Leopold Freiherr von Ende (born December 31, 1795 in Dresden ; † May 2, 1856 in Berlin ) was a landowner on Altjeßnitz , royal Saxon chamberlain and member of the Prussian manor house .

Life

Otto von end comes from a branch of the Saxon noble family from the end of that since 1694, the Good Altjeßnitz , district Bitterfeld belonged. He was the son of the royal Prussian legation councilor , then the royal Saxon privy councilor Dietrich Karl Leopold von Ende (1753-1813). After his father's death in 1813 he inherited Altjeßnitz as majorate and Trinum as liege lord . From 1814 to 1820 he studied law a. a. in Leipzig , followed by educational trips to Switzerland, Ireland and Scotland. Ende managed the estate of his family branch, to which, in addition to Altjessnitz, the fiefdoms Trinum in Anhalt-Köthen and Dittersbach in Saxony belonged. With the Congress of Vienna in 1815, Altjessnitz, which had previously been Saxon, came to Prussia.

Von Ende was married to Charlotte Fitz-Gerald (1805-1853), daughter of the British Infantry General and Member of Parliament Sir John Fitz-Gerald, and had six children since 1832. In 1855, the association of old and fortified real estate elected Upper Saxony from Ende as their representative in the Prussian manor house. He was also a knight of the Order of St. John .
