The right end of the line is an initiative of the Jusos in the SPD Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania , which campaigns against right-wing extremism . The information and participation campaign provides information on developments in the right-wing political spectrum and offers interested parties local opportunities to participate. The initiative is now also available in other federal states in Germany.

development

Founded terminus law under the auspices of the Young Socialists in early 2006 as one against the electoral success of the NPD in the Saxony state election, 2004 directed pluralistic oriented project ahead of the state elections in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern end of that year. The associated political intention related to the practical work on right-wing extremism.

After the NPD moved into the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania state parliament with an election result of 7.3%, the official website was expanded from autumn 2006 into a platform for documenting the nationwide party work of the NPD. Mathias Brodkorb refers to around 100,000 Internet visitors per month. The initiative documented up to 81 calls to order in January 2008 as well as the provocation of the party and its relatives in society.

In 2008 and 2009, the initiative expanded its activities to Saxony and Saxony-Anhalt, and later to Bavaria. In 2014, the platform collected material on the Free Network South in Bavaria and made it available to the media.

Alignment

As a news portal, Endstation Rechts reports on a daily basis about right-wing extremism in Germany. Although the portal was founded by Jusos of the SPD Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, the self-claim is represented to act in a non-partisan manner and to strive for objectivity and reporting according to journalistic principles. Also, “by no means all authors, makers and supporters are at home in the SPD”. Responsible for the content of the news portal, however, is the state manager of the SPD in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. In Bavaria, the local website is run by the BayernSPD .

In addition to reports from the state parliaments in which the NPD is or was represented in parliamentary groups, a second focus of the reporting is the observation and commentary on the activities and ideologies of right-wing extremist parties as well as comradeships and civil society and democratic (counter) initiatives. Dissemination by others in social networks is part of the concept of public relations. The platform has around 21,000 fans on Facebook. Around 8,000 articles are available in its own portal.

Projects

In 2008, the satirical fashion label Storch Heinar was founded as part of Endstation Rechts . The later Mecklenburg Minister Mathias Brodkorb was involved as founder of both. Since then, articles of clothing with humorous allusions to current right-wing extremists and historical National Socialist semiotics have been offered on the Internet .
