The Enge Laine is an approximately 2.9 km long, northern and right tributary of the Ammer in the Upper Bavarian district of Garmisch-Partenkirchen .

The Enge Laine arises in the Ammergau Alps on the southwest slope of the Hörnle group ( 1496  m above sea  level ) southwest below the Hinteres Hörnles ( 1547.8  m ) from the confluence of the Diezenmoosgraben at an altitude of 985  m , which is fed by the Rehbreingraben, and Geschwandgraben. The stream flows in a westerly direction and then bends south before Unterammergau . After flowing through the eastern locality of Au , it flows at an altitude of about 826  m into the Isar tributary Ammer, which comes from the east .
