Enrica Cipriani (born October 28, 1988 in Verona ) is an Italian ski racer . It specializes in the fast downhill and Super-G disciplines.

biography

Cipriani contested her first FIS races in January 2004, the first start in the European Cup followed in February 2006. In 2007 and 2008 she took part in the Junior World Championships and achieved 16th place in the Super-G 2008 as the best result In the 2008/09 European Cup season she reached the top 10 for the first time with tenth place in the Super-G of Kvitfjell on November 29th, and at the final in March in Crans-Montana , she finished ninth in the downhill and eighth place in the Super-G .

Cipriani made her debut in the World Cup on February 20, 2009 and took her first World Cup points on March 1 of the same year in Bansko's Super-G with rank 27. In the European Cup, she achieved her first podium finish in third place in the downhill in St. Moritz in the 2009/10 season and thus fifth in the discipline ranking. On March 25, 2010 she became Italian Super-G Champion . On February 8, 2012 she won a European Cup race for the first time with the Super-G from Jasná , with an additional third place she won the Super-G classification in the 2011/12 season . On January 20, 2013, Cipriani won World Cup points for the second time in her career and at the same time for the first time in almost four years by finishing 28th in the Super-G of Cortina d'Ampezzo .
