The Enteridiidae are a family of slime molds in the order of the Liceida . With around 60 species in seven genera, it comprises by far the largest part of the order. The types of the family are common worldwide.
features
The fruiting bodies are very different in terms of their size and shape. Either there are very small sporangia or large ethers or pseudo-ethers. Dictydine granules are always missing. The peridium is permanent and complete.
Systematics
The Enteridiidae were first described by Marie L. Farr in 1982. They comprise seven genera with around sixty species, half of which are species of the genus Cribraria .
