Erhard Lonscher
Erhard Lonscher (born July 28, 1925 in Patschkau ; † June 28, 2013 in Berlin ) was a party functionary of the GDR bloc party NDPD .
Life
The son of a teacher grew up with his grandfather and also became a teacher after attending a teacher training college. In 1943 he was drafted into the Wehrmacht and shortly before the end of the war on May 2, 1945, he was taken prisoner by the Soviets. After attending an Antifa school , he returned to Germany in January 1949. In the same year he joined the NDPD and from 1952 worked as a full-time employee of its party executive. After distance learning at the German Academy for Political Science and Law (DASR) in Potsdam, he was director of the Central Party School of the NDPD in Waldsieversdorf (Kr. Strausberg) from 1963 to 1966 . From 1963 to 1990 he was a member of the main committee of the NDPD and its party executive. From 1966 to 1973 he headed the NDPD district association Halle as chairman , then he acted as secretary until 1985 and until 1990 as a member of the secretariat of the NDPD main committee. From 1976 to 1986 he was a member of the People's Chamber . From 1985 to 1990 he was again director of the central party school of the NDPD in Waldsieversdorf (Kr. Strausberg). Since 1990 he has lived as a pensioner in Berlin. With his party he joined the Bund Free Democrats (BFD) in 1990 . In summer 1990 he resigned because the BFD had merged with the FDP .
