Erik Borner

Erik Borner (* 1967 in Hemer ) is a German actor and director . He also works as a comment, audio books, and voice actor , singer , songwriter , presenter , screenwriter and film producer .

Life

In 1991 Erik Borner passed his final examination in drama musical at the Städtische Bühnen Frankfurt . From 1994 he appeared in German television series. He played leading roles in the films Experimente II (1999) by Angelique Komer, Menschlich (2000) by Alex Feil and Traumreise nach India (2007) by Renate Beyer. In addition to film acting, Erik Borner also appeared in various theaters.

The 2005 documentary Mythos Heiliger Grail was Erik Borner's first major film as a director and producer. In this film he also played the role of the young Bérenger Saunière himself . Other documentaries, image films for companies and municipalities and short films followed. A feature film based on the novel Es wird Dich Ruf by Simon Cross with Michael Mendl in the leading role is currently in preparation.

Erik Borner founded the production company Blue Screen Entertainment in 2005 for the production of his films ; the image film division was spun off into a separate company called Blue Screen Image at the beginning of 2012 .

Erik Borner et al. a. the sorcerer's apprentice Simon in the adventure game series Simon the Sorcerer but also the orange Ottsel Daxter from the Jak and Daxter series. His voice can be heard in over 100 computer games and as many documentaries, mostly for ZDF. He also acted as a voice actor in several films. He also participated in countless radio plays and reads audio books.

From 1995 to 2016 Erik Borner was involved in various song productions as a composer, lyricist and singer. He also had several live performances. He was seen as one of the front singers with the formation "Tribute to Frank Sinatra" in the Alte Oper in Frankfurt or the Friedrichstadtpalast in Berlin. He plays the piano, his voice is baritone.

Erik Borner is unmarried and has a son. His main residence is in Offenbach am Main .

At the 8th Frankfurt Youth Film Festival in 1995, Erik Borner's short film Schlag Neun - Weihnachtsgruss received an award as an exemplary production.

His documentary Everyone can do something - a project goes to school from 2009 won the ITVA Award.
