Eric Burggräf (born March 10, 1999 ) is a German volleyball player . The player has been playing for the SWD Powervolleys Düren since 2019 , with which he reached the cup final in 2020.

Career

Burggräf started his career at VC Gotha . He later played for the VC Olympia Berlin youth team . As captain, he led the junior national team. With the VCO he competed in the second Bundesliga North in the 2017/18 season. In the following season he was active with the youngsters in the first Bundesliga. In 2019 the player was hired by the German Bundesliga club SWD Powervolleys Düren . In the 2019/20 DVV Cup , Burggräf reached the final with the SWD Powervolleys, which the team lost to the Berlin Recycling Volleys . When the Bundesliga season was canceled shortly before the playoffs, Düren was in sixth place in the table. Burggräf will also play for Düren in the 2020/21 season.

In beach volleyball Burggräf played among others with Robert Werner in some junior competitions and smaller tournaments. In 2015 the duo was named Gothas Sportsman of the Year.
