Tim Broshog (born December 2, 1987 in Berlin ) is a German volleyball player . With the national team he was third in the World Cup and won the European Games. He was active in several clubs in Germany and Belgium. Since 2016 he has been playing for the SWD Powervolleys Düren , with which he reached the cup final in 2020.

Career

Born in Berlin, Broshog played in the capital with the SCC and the VC Olympia youth team . The middle blocker took part in the world championship with the junior national team. In 2007 he moved from Berlin to Bundesliga club Netzhoppers Königs Wusterhausen . In 2008 he was signed by the league competitor Moerser SC and reached the final of the DVV Cup there in his first season . In 2011 he was the World League in the squad of the German national team appointed. In 2013 Broshog again reached the DVV Cup final with Moers and took sixth place with the national team at the European Championships in Denmark and Poland . In 2014 he moved to the top Belgian club Noliko Maaseik . With the national team he won the bronze medal at the World Cup in Poland and a year later the gold medal at the European Games in Baku . In 2016 Broshog was signed by the SWD Powervolleys Düren and returned to the German Bundesliga. In the 2016/17 season he was third in the Bundesliga with Düren. The 2017/18 season ended in the playoff quarter-finals . In 2018/19 Broshog reached the semi-finals in the DVV Cup and the quarter-finals in the Bundesliga playoffs with the club . In the DVV-Pokal 2019/20 he reached the final with the SWD Powervolleys, which the team lost to the Berlin Recycling Volleys . When the Bundesliga season was canceled shortly before the playoffs, Düren was in sixth place in the table. Broshog will also play for Düren in the 2020/21 season.
