For the 2013/14 season, Andrei stayed with the team from the west coast of France and successfully asserted himself (as vice-captain of the team) in the French League. At the end of 2013, the middle blocker came to his first appearances in the German national team . At the 2014 World Cup in Poland , he won the bronze medal with the national team. He then moved to the top Belgian club Topvolley Antwerp . In June 2015 Andrei won the gold medal at the first European Games with Germany in Baku . In the 2015/16 season he played again in France for Gazélec FC Ajaccio , with whom he won the French Cup.

In 2016 he returned to the German Bundesliga team SWD Powervolleys Düren . In the 2016/17 season he reached third place in the championship with the Düren team. With the national team he took part in the European Championship in Poland and reached the final, which was lost 3-2 to Russia ; the silver medal was the first German EM medal. The 2017/18 season ended for Andrei in the playoff quarter-finals . At the beginning of the following 2018/19 season he was appointed captain of the team. The team reached the semi-finals in the DVV Cup and the quarter-finals in the Bundesliga playoffs . In the 2019/20 DVV Cup , Andrei reached the final with the SWD Powervolleys, which the team lost to the Berlin Recycling Volleys .
