Eric Gerard Laneuville (born July 14, 1952 in New Orleans , Louisiana ) is an American director and actor.

Life

Laneuville began his acting career in the late 1960s. First took a guest role in various television series, followed by a leading role in the 1971 science fiction film The Omega Man . Immediately afterwards he was involved again in various series, from 1970 to 1973 he took on a recurring role in Room 222 . Laneuville was still mainly seen in television productions, he took on a new role in a series from 1982 to 1988 head physician Dr. West phall .

From the mid-1980s, Laneuville also began working as a director. In addition to some television films, many of which are biographical adaptations, he is primarily involved in a wide variety of television series of different genres, including Lost , The Mentalist , Ghost Whisperer - Voices from the Beyond , CSI: NY , The Glades and Chicago Fire . His work as a director includes more than 90 productions.

In 1992 he was awarded an episode of the series for his directing I'll Fly Away the Emmy . He also won a DGA Award in 1990 and 1992.
