Erica Alfridi

Erica Alfridi (born February 22, 1968 in Tregnago , Province of Verona ) is a former Italian walker .

In the 10 km walk she was fifth at the World Athletics Championships in Athens in 1997 and won silver at the 1998 European Athletics Championships in Budapest.

A sixth place at the 1999 World Cup in Seville over 20 km walking was followed by a fourth place at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney.

In 2001 she won gold at the Mediterranean Games and finished fourth at the Edmonton World Cup . The following year she won bronze at the European Championships in Munich .

Over 10 km she was Italian champion in 1988 and 1997, over 20 km in 1996, 1997 and 1999 and on the track over 5000 m in 1998 and 2002. In the hall she won the national title four times over 3000 m (1996, 1997, 1999 and 2000).

Erica Alfridi is 1.68 m tall and weighs 52 kg.
