Erich Behrendt (politician)
Erich Behrendt (born May 22, 1904 in Drengfurthshof , † December 27, 1941 in Kolpino ) was a German politician ( NSDAP ).
Live and act
Behrendt attended the Reformrealgymnasium and then took up an agricultural activity. He later became an agricultural official before settling down as a farmer in Raulitt. He joined the NSDAP before 1929 and became head of the Benkheim NSDAP local group in October 1929 . He stayed that way until October 1930.
On January 1, 1933, Behrendt was appointed SA Standartenführer and on September 1, 1933, SA Oberführer. As Oberführer he was in front of SA Brigade 4 in Königsberg until February 28, 1937. During this time he was also a district farmer in the Königsberg district. In the meantime, on April 20, 1936, he had been appointed SA Brigade Leader. From March 1, 1937 until his death he was staff leader of the SA group Ostland.
In 1933, Behrendt was a member of the Prussian state parliament for a few months before he sat in the National Socialist Reichstag on November 12 as a member of constituency 1 (East Prussia) . He took part in World War II as a reserve lieutenant and squadron leader and fell in Kolpino near Leningrad at the end of 1941 .
