Erich Sauer (politician)
Erich Sauer (born February 5, 1917 in Würzburg ; † March 19, 2001 there ) was a German politician ( CSU ), married and had two children.
Sauer attended school in Würzburg and was active in the military and military service during the Second World War. After his release from captivity, he studied in Würzburg and in 1950 passed his second teaching examination. He was the school director by profession.
In 1947 Sauer became a member of the CSU. There he was chairman of the Ochsenfurt district association for over 10 years. From 1956 to 1978 he was a member of the district council, first in Ochsenfurt , then in Würzburg . On August 16, 1961, he replaced the deceased Hanns Seidel in the Bavarian state parliament . After that, he always won the direct mandate in the Kitzingen district . He was a member of the state parliament until 1982.
