Erik Lindh

Erik Lindh (born May 24, 1964 in Kungälv ) is a Swedish table tennis player and trainer. He is multiple team world and European champion and won the bronze medal in men's singles at the Olympic Games in Seoul . He is the first European table tennis player to win an Olympic medal. In addition, he was also active in the table tennis Bundesliga . Since 2002 Lindh has been the trainer of the Swedish women's table tennis team.

Style of play

Erik Lindh shone above all with his extremely hard forehand "shot" and a very aggressive, emphatically fast, forehand topspin. In terms of playing technique, he was reminiscent of Kjell Johansson , and in terms of mobility, more like Stellan Bengtsson . He is left handed.
