Erika Huszár (born November 22, 1983 in Jászberény ) is a Hungarian short tracker .

Huszár made her World Cup debut in the 2004/05 season at the home race in Budapest . She achieved her best placement with an eleventh place over 500 m. In the following season 2005/06 she ran only at the World Cup in The Hague , but at least reached the semifinals over 1000 m. At the European Championships in Krynica-Zdrój she won her first medal at an international championship, with the relay she won the bronze medal. She qualified for the 2006 Olympic Games in Turin . There she reached ranks 13 and eleven over 500 m and 1000 m, she surprised in fourth over 1500 m and narrowly missed a medal. In 2007 Huszár became the first national champion. She won her first international medals in individual races at the 2008 European Championships in Ventspils . Over 500 m and 3000 m Huszár was second, in the all-around event she just barely missed a medal in fourth. In the 2008/09 season Huszár started again in several World Cup races after a long absence, but could not qualify for a semi-finals. The European championship in Turin was more successful for her , where she won bronze in the 500 m and was European champion with the relay. At the World Championships in Vienna she reached the semifinals over 500 m, but there she was disqualified and ended up in eighth place in the final classification. The 2009/10 season started successfully for Huszár. At the World Cup in Seoul , she reached a final over 500 m for the first time and was fifth. She took part in all the highlights of the season. At the European Championships in Dresden she won bronze again over 500 m and was seventh in the all-around competition, at the team world championships in Bormio she was victorious with her teammates in the B final and came fifth, at the world championships in Sofia Huszár, however, could not take any top places. She took part in the Olympic Games in Vancouver for the second time . Her best individual result was a sixth place over 1500 m, with the relay she was fifth. In the 2010/11 season Huszár won medals again at the European Championships in Heerenveen . She won bronze in the 1500 m, in the all-around event she was eighth and in the relay she won silver.
