Ernest John Primeau
Ernest John Primeau (born September 17, 1909 in Chicago , USA ; † June 15, 1989 ) was Bishop of Manchester .
Life
Ernest John Primeau received on 7 April 1934, the sacrament of Holy Orders .
On November 27, 1959, Pope John XXIII appointed him . to the Bishop of Manchester. The Archbishop of Chicago , Albert Cardinal Meyer , donated him episcopal ordination on February 25, 1960 ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Joliet, Illinois , Martin Dewey McNamara , and the Auxiliary Bishop of Chicago, Raymond Peter Hillinger .
On January 30, 1974, Ernest John Primeau resigned as Bishop of Manchester.
