Odore Joseph Gendron (born September 13, 1921 in Manchester ) is Former Bishop of Manchester .

Life

Odore Joseph Gendron was ordained a priest on May 31, 1947 .

Pope Paul VI appointed him Bishop of Manchester on December 12, 1974 . The Old Bishop of Manchester Ernest John Primeau consecrated him on February 3 of the next year as bishop; Co- consecrators were Edward Cornelius O'Leary , Bishop of Portland , and Timothy Joseph Harrington , Auxiliary Bishop of Worcester .

On June 12, 1990, he resigned from his position.
