Ernst Guenter Erich Kaschik

Ernst Guenter Erich Kaschik (born January 16, 1932 in Posen , Poland , † May 15, 2000 in Windhoek ) was a Namibian economist and politician.

Life

Kaschik studied economics in Germany and worked as an auditor and accountant, among others in the law firm Priflinger & Roll . Kaschik was Chairman of the Chartered Valuer & Sworn Appraiser Supreme Court . He was the managing director of the SWA Building Society and other finance and hotel companies.

In 1967 he became Windhoek Town Councilor . He was Mayor of Windhoek in Namibia from March 19, 1974 to 1976.

He married Ulrike Roll in 1956; the marriage has two daughters. Kaschik was a member of the Round Table service club . He was a member of the Sport Club Windhoek . He was President of Windhoek Carnival (WIKA) .
