Ernst Joseph Thelott

Ernst Joseph Thelott (born October 8, 1802 in Düsseldorf , † May 1, 1833 in Augsburg ) was a German portrait painter .

Thelott, son of Ernst Carl Thelott , the professor of copper engraving at the Düsseldorf Art Academy , like his older brother Karl, received artistic training from his father and at the latter's academy. After its director Peter Cornelius moved to Munich , he also moved there and attended the Royal Academy of Fine Arts .
